Fun & Festive Drinks for an Unforgettable Wedding Reception

No matter what you plan on drinking at your wedding, your bar will be one of the most important parts of your wedding day. Regardless of whether you’re planning a menu of signature cocktails or spicing things up with some snazzy mocktails, your guests will be thirsty – especially if your wedding is outdoors during the summer. Alcohol is often a wedding staple, but even if you’re planning a dry event, we highly recommend hiring a bar service to provide your guests with juice, soft drinks, and, most importantly, water! Thirsty guests are not happy guests, and you want everyone at your wedding to have an absolute blast! No matter what kind of vibe you’re looking to curate with your bar, we’ve amassed a smattering of inspo pics to help you in your planning journey. Our Garden Pavilion and patio area with the Natural Stone Fireplace, are the perfect backdrop for toasting to the happy couple, no matter what you’re drinking! So grab a glass of your favorite beverage, put your feet up, and scroll through some of the best bar setups we’ve seen. Cheers!

Special thanks to all of the amazing photographers for sharing these shots with us!

Did you know that you can have a mixed cash and open bar? Some people think that their bar needs to be either all cash or completely open. This isn’t the case! You can have an open bar for the first hour of your reception, and then cash for the rest of the night, or do a cash bar for cocktails, but an open bar for wine and beer. Whatever suits your event best! Photo Credit: Kelsey Bellows Photography

Planning a Fusion Wedding: Bringing Cultural Traditions Together for an Outdoor Wedding Celebration

Planning a wedding is a complex endeavor, filled with many decisions and obstacles to navigate. Such an undertaking can feel even more challenging when attempting to incorporate two or more cultures or faiths into one special celebration. While orchestrating a multicultural wedding can seem daunting, we’re here to offer some advice and wisdom to help guide you through this journey. The most enduring sentiment that we strive to remember is this – weddings are the great equalizer. Everyone loves a wedding, regardless of cultural, religious, or generational differences. There is no right way or wrong way to celebrate your unity with the love of your life. As long as you make decisions with your partner that feel special and affirming to you and your relationship, your day will transcend any expectations and shine with the love that you share.

The first decision to make when planning a wedding involving multiple traditions is whether you would like to have one ceremony or two (or more!). Some couples, when working with different faiths or cultural practices, choose to blend together the important elements into one ceremony that is unique and personalized to them, honoring the parts of their heritage or upbringing that resonate with them the most. Other couples prefer to have two or more separate ceremonies, one for each individual culture or faith being represented. Neither of these options is “better” or “worse” than the other, it’s entirely about what feels right for you!  A decision that goes hand in hand with this is whether you would like to have all of your festivities on one day, or plan a celebration over two or more days. Here at The Gardens, we’ve had fusion ceremonies, two ceremonies on one day, and two ceremonies over two days. All of these celebrations have been beautiful and memorable, as they were perfect reflections of each couple celebrating their love and sharing their cultures.

If communication is key in relationships, it’s even more important to have open and clear communication while planning a wedding – for a number of reasons. Firstly, weddings can be expensive. The price can increase when planning multicultural weddings, especially if you are celebrating over more than one day, or are including multiple different elements from each tradition. It’s important to be upfront and candid with whoever is paying for or helping to pay for your celebration, to ensure that expectations are realistic for the amount of money that had to be spent. Additionally, wedding planning comes with lots of opinions. Some of them are helpful, and others are rather the opposite. It’s critical to remember that the most important opinions are the ones belonging to you and your partner; the two of you should be in the driver’s seat regarding decisions to be made about your special day. With that in mind, it can be helpful to talk with family members ahead of time about what will and won’t be included in your wedding celebration, to help manage expectations and set boundaries. You can absolutely value input from your family members, but ultimately the day is yours, and your wishes are the ones that matter the most and should be respected accordingly.

One of the biggest joys of multicultural weddings is sharing new traditions and experiences with your loved ones. Not only does this provide you and your guests with a fun and memorable event, it also helps symbolize the joining of two families brought together by your love. One of our favorite ways to do this is through food – another great equalizer. Just as everyone loves a good wedding, people from across every culture and across the globe love good food. Sharing a meal is one of the best ways to get to know new people and new cultures, both things that happen at multicultural weddings! We have an open catering policy at The Gardens, meaning that you can choose any restaurant or caterer to serve food at your event. This allows you to choose a vendor who specializes in the type of cuisine that you want at your wedding, ensuring that your food meets the vision that you have for your day. Like with food, beverages (alcoholic or otherwise) are another great way to share different cultures and traditions with your guests. Whether you have self-serve tea stations, traditional liquor, beer, or wine, or work with your bar service to create signature fusion cocktails, your loved ones will surely enjoy toasting in cultural style. Additionally, consider incorporating music from both sides of the aisle on the dance floor. You can share your favorite traditional or modern songs and dances, and can teach them to all of your guests, which is great way to break the ice! Speaking of music, it’s also popular to hire a traditional musical group to play during your cocktail hour or for your whole reception. The atmosphere it adds is unbeatable!

Another thing to keep in mind is how much your guests do and don’t know about the different components of your wedding and reception. If needed, consider hiring a translator for your ceremony, if not everyone is fluent in the language(s) that the ceremony will be performed in. Additionally, consider including brief descriptions for the different elements of you ceremony and reception in your wedding program. This will help your guests to better understand the importance of the elements that you have chosen to incorporate on your special day, and help them connect to your celebration. You can also include additional information on your wedding website if you have one. We also recommend choosing vendors who are experienced in the type of celebration that you are creating. If you are using a wedding planner, we recommend hiring someone who has experience in planning fusion/multicultural events. Their knowledge will help to bring your celebration to life!

With these suggestions in mind, we hope that you feel better equipped to navigate the process of planning your dream multicultural wedding. While merging different traditions into one event can feel challenging at times, it is truly our differences that bring us together, and that is something to celebrate. So go forth in joy, and fill your day with the things that set your heart alight. Scroll below to see some photos of multicultural weddings hosted here at The Gardens, and take inspiration from these beautiful celebrations!

Yep, you’re seeing a horse all right! It was important for Bidisha & Brian to have a traditional Baraat (groom’s procession). Tradition says, centuries ago, the groom had to ride a horse for many days and nights to reach his bride. It was an arduous journey, and a humbling one. This proved he was indeed ready for marriage. Real Wedding Spotlight ~Embracing New Traditions: A Queer Couple’s Early Spring Boho Wedding

It is said that if you marry in May, you will never rue the day. In other words, if you tie the knot amid May flowers, you won’t ever regret it. Looking at Shaylee & Blake’s wedding, we can easily see how that is true! Though their end-of-May wedding may have been celebrated under mostly overcast skies, personalized touches, pops of color, and the joy of celebrating love brought their day to life. The focal point of their day was easily Shaylee’s stunning and unique dress, a lacy, boho-inspired gown that evoked a relaxed 70’s vibe. The wedding party looked dashing in all-black suits and champagne and mossy green dresses, perfectly complimenting the spring surroundings. Neutral bouquets with pops of color provided the perfect accompaniment as group photos were taken in The Woods, followed by heartfelt speeches during a joyous reception in the Wedding Reception Tent. Scroll down to see some gorgeous photos from an unforgettable day…..

Earthly Elegance: Chelsea & Pedro’s Lovely Natural Toned Wedding – Real Wedding Spotlight

We can all think of people whose big plans were disrupted by COVID-19.  From the cancellation of a once-in-a-lifetime vacation to socially distanced graduation ceremonies, COVID-19 busted into our lives like a Big Fat Party Pooper and made us miserable.  Insert your boos and hisses here.

Chelsea and Pedro are no strangers to COVID-19 and its remarkable ability to disrupt millions of important milestones over the last four years.  In June 2022, a week before their wedding day, Pedro was diagnosed with COVID-19 and had to quarantine away from Chelsea.  Scrambling to figure out if Pedro would be able to test negative for COVID by their scheduled wedding day, it quickly became clear, there wouldn’t be enough time and their wedding would have to reschedule.  The Gardens worked with Chelsea and Pedro to move their date to June 2023. Once their new date was set, the couple reached out to their vendor team to inform them of the new date. Then they patiently waited.

Fast forward 12 months and it was finally time for Chelsea and Pedro to give this whole wedding day thing another try. The day went off without a hitch……or should we say, with a hitch, they did get married (See what I did there?).

Looking to incorporate a wedding party clad in earth tones amongst Wedding in The Woods ceremony site and Wedding Reception Tent adorned in a boho chic vibe with classic vintage details…. think cool macramé hangings and colored glass candle holders and water goblets. Thanks to The Gardens’ open catering policy, Chelsea and Pedro were able to choose a vegan caterer who provided a delicious 100% plant-based buffet…something they found important and wanted to share with their guests. The celebration continued into the night with Chelsea and Pedro enjoying all the experiences they waited so patiently for.  We can’t help but wonder if their wedding day was a little sweeter and a bit more joyous as they finally tied the knot and celebrated all the adventures to come.

10 Things to Tell Your Guests about Your Outdoor Wedding

Outdoor weddings have become increasingly popular for couples seeking a unique and picturesque backdrop for their special day. However, attending an outdoor wedding requires some extra considerations for guests. There are numerous ways to communicate important information with your guests……Save-the-Date cards, invitations, emails, wedding websites, social media private groups, text messaging and the good old-fashion talking on the phone.  To ensure everyone has a delightful experience, here are 10 important things to share with your guests about your outdoor wedding celebration.

1. Weather Considerations

Outdoor weather can be unpredictable, so encourage your guests to check the forecast and dress accordingly. Suggest that guests to layer their clothing for varying temperatures to stay comfortable throughout the entire celebration. That way they can subtract clothing as the weather warms up or as the party heats up.

Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom……can change how happy you are to be marrying the love of your life. Photo Credit: Tessa June Photography

Don’t forget to factor in your wedding party’s comfort when preparing for weather changes on your wedding day. Photo Credit: Rachel Graff Photography

2. Footwear Recommendations

Inform guests about the terrain of your outdoor venue. Advise your guests of appropriate footwear choices by considering potential challenges, like uneven ground, gravel or grassy areas. Guests will appreciate you telling them to nix the high heels and choose more comfortable and accommodating footwear.

Encourage your guests to choose footwear that will enable them to be both comfortable and able to walk safety on both hard and soft surfaces. Life tip: Stilettos on soft grass are a no go…..literally the heels will get stuck. Photo Credit: The Gardens of Castle Rock

Good footwear is even more important when all eyes are on you or your wedding party during the BIG moments like walking into the Lath House. Photo Credit: The Gardens of Castle Rock

3. Sun Protection

For daytime outdoor weddings, emphasize the importance of sun protection. Recommend sunscreen application and encourage guests to bring hats and/or sunglasses. If your ceremony site is not shaded, consider providing sun umbrellas for your guests.  They not only provides the needed sun protection, but can add to the aesthetics of your event.   After the ceremony, ensure the cocktail area and reception space have shaded areas for those who want to escape the sun.

A beautiful sunny wedding day also means a sunny ceremony on The Lawn. If there are no shaded areas at your ceremony spot, consider providing sun umbrellas for your guests. Photo Credit: Fox & Loon Photography

4. Insect Awareness

Acknowledge the possibility of insects in outdoor settings and recommend insect repellent or alternatives like citronella candles. Consider offering guests a “Comfort Station”, much like the bathroom baskets you’ll find in the restrooms of many wedding receptions. The “Comfort Station” can have insect repellent and sunscreen (See tip #3).  Also, ask your venue if they spray for bugs, especially those pesky mosquitoes. Taking measures to minimize pest disruptions will contribute to a more enjoyable experience.

The dusky time of the wedding day is full of expectation as guests anticipate the dance party to begin in the Wedding Reception Tent. This is also peak time for those pesky mosquitos to come out. Be sure to ask your venue if they spray for mosquitos. Photo Credit: Rachel Graff Photography

5. Ceremony Seating Arrangements
We know you and your partner will be the central focus during your ceremony, but what’s the plan for guest seating? Two important factors to consider.  First, what’s the vibe you are going for your ceremony?  Is this an elegant affair? A laid back “come as you are” event?  The vibe helps determine what your guests will sit on.  The options for seating are endless…..black chairs, white fan back chairs, benches, Chiavari chairs, haybales, blankets, etc….  Second, think about the accessibility. If you have grandparents, elderly guests or guests with mobility issues, consider providing seating that allows them to sit comfortably while observing the ceremony and once it is over have the ability to stand safely and easily.  It’s totally fine to have more than one seating option for your ceremony. Ask your venue what they have seen work best for your ceremony site.  They’ve seen a lot of weddings so pick their brain for some tips.    If you are having an early spring or fall wedding, consider providing small blankets to keep your guests comfy during the ceremony.

Benches are the perfect seating choice for this Wedding In The Woods; however, if you need a more stable seating option for your guests, chat with your venue about options. Photo Credit: The Gardens of Castle Rock

6. Communication of Venue Features

Outdoor weddings can be a selfie taking paradise!  Be sure to let your guests know a bit about your outdoor wedding spot and the unique features it offers.  If you have a wedding website (which is a terrific idea!) provide a link to your venue’s website so guests can get a feel for the place and join in your excitement for your special day. Highlight breathtaking views or special elements they may want to explore before or after the ceremony. This helps guests feel more connected to the surroundings.

7. Parking and Transportation
What’s the deal with parking at the venue?  This one’s a big deal, especially if alcohol will be served at your wedding.  You want your guests to be safe as they move from Point A to Point B.  If you venue does not allow overnight parking, let your guests know so they can plan to carpool and/or assign a sober driver. Better yet, consider renting a shuttle for even easier transportation.  Do guests have to pay for parking? Is it street parking?  Is there ample parking spaces?    Provide your guests with this information. Be sure to add directions to the venue that guests can plug into GPS or go a bit old school and include a small map and/or driving instructions with your wedding invitations. One last thing to consider, road construction.  Road construction can be a hassle, especially when guests are trying to get to your wedding ceremony by a set time.  Do a bit of research on the state’s department of transportation website to find out if there will be any construction projects happening in the area of your wedding venue.

Providing a shuttle service for your guests ensures they get home safety at the end of the night and ensures they are on time for your ceremony. Photo Credit: Bradley Hanson Photography

8. Dress Code Guidance

Help your guests out by letting them know the dress code for the wedding. White-Tie? Black-Tie? Formal? Cocktail? Casual?   With so many options, guests will thank you for saving them time rummaging through their closet.  When sharing the dress code, also share the footwear recommendations (See Tip #2). Does your venue have gravel in the parking lot?  Let guests know that the 4 inch stilettoes are not the best choice. Instead offer examples of suitable clothing and footwear, emphasizing the importance of comfort and practicality in their outfit choices.

9. Contingency Plans

Flexibility is key when having an outdoor wedding.  Your day may be blue skies and sunshine, cloudy and rainy or anything in between.  Assure your guests that there are contingency plans in place to accommodate all kinds of inclement weather. To learn more about The Gardens inclement weather plan, visit the blog, What If It Rains On My Wedding Day.

10. Keep Accessibility in Mind

Consider that older guests or guests with mobility issues may have a difficult time navigating around your venue.  Ask your venue if it is ADA accessible allowing a person with a disability is able to move easily throughout the venue.   Also, research if there are handicap parking options available.  Quell anxiety by communicating this information to your guests, especially guests will mobility issues and their families or caregivers.

Guests will mobility issues can easily navigate around the Garden Pavilion and Natural Stone Fireplace at The Gardens of Castle Rock with its ample open spaces. Photo Credit: The Gardens of Castle Rock

By sharing these essential details with your guests, you’re not only ensuring their comfort, but also helping them fully enjoy the unique experience of an outdoor celebration. Express gratitude for their understanding and cooperation, and encourage them to embrace the beauty and charm of the outdoor setting. With thoughtful communication, your outdoor wedding is sure to be a memorable and enjoyable occasion for everyone involved.

The Knot Best of Weddings: The Gardens of Castle Rock

What Couples are Saying about this Timeless Outdoor Wedding Venue in Minnesota

Welcome to The Gardens of Castle Rock, a wedding and event venue in lower south metro – a short distance from the Twin Cities. Here you will find beautiful settings for your outdoor wedding ceremony and reception or special event. What a year! Couples (and their guests) traveled far and wide to celebrate their love stories here at The Gardens. We are honored and excited to share what these special couples had to say about their experience at The Gardens of Castle Rock.

Greta & Ben

“Choosing the Gardens of Castle Rock for our venue was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process; [The Gardens staff] were very communicative and accommodating to requests and questions throughout the whole process; from our first tour to the wedding day itself…We also wanted flexibility in who we brought in for the rest of our vendors – not only were we not restricted in our choice in caterer/florists/décor, etc., but the Gardens also provided a list of tried and tested vendors that knew the location. We felt fully supported during our vendor journey without feeling pressured to pick from a restricted list…They also helped us navigate and plan for potential rain, which thankfully we didn’t have to use, but it was such a comfort to know that rain or shine my wedding was going to go off without a hitch. I can’t thank the Gardens of Castle Rock enough for ensuring my perfect day and I wholeheartedly recommend them!”

Anna & Alec

“I couldn’t imagine having had my wedding anywhere else! We had a very long engagement, and The Gardens kept in contact with us the whole time, ensuring we had everything we needed. They referred us to our fantastic wedding coordinator as well. We got so many compliments on the venue and the Lath House was such a beautiful space for the ceremony! All the spaces down to the getting-ready cabin were gorgeous! There were so many areas to take photos as well! I really loved their flexibility with catering as well. I would recommend this venue to ANYONE!!”

“We got married at The Gardens of Castle Rock in June. The venue is absolutely stunning. The staff is amazing. Glenn and team have developed the most beautiful venue with so many different backdrop options for photos…On our wedding day, our guest were raving at how beautiful and unique the venue is. The also have many very helpful blogs on their website. Definitely recommend checking those out…All around 10/10 for everything when dealing with The Gardens of Castle Rock. We could not have asked for a better location and team to work with. It was everything we had dreamed of.”

“The Gardens are so beautiful! It was the perfect setting for a wonderful day! There were so many unique and special places for our guests to spend their time: playing lawn games, gathering under the hand-carved structures, walking through the forest by the grape vines. And at night, the whole place twinkled with beautiful exterior lighting. The staff was great and we had a fabulous time. It was lovely.”

“Our wedding day was THE BEST DAY EVER! Everyone raved about the venue! It was warm and cozy in the tent even though it was a cool, windy October day. The bridal suite was an awesome place for all the ladies to get ready. Everything was simply perfect!”

Shelby & Mitchell

“As soon as we toured the Gardens of Castle Rock, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The grounds are gorgeous, extensive, and you get them all to yourself all day! The bridal suit is huge and perfect for photos as well as comfy for hanging out. [The Gardens staff] were incredibly easy to work with and so helpful and responsive. They also provide a really useful blog and Flickr account full of photo ideas. Everything is so customizable; our wedding was so personal. Even when the weather didn’t cooperate and it stormed after the ceremony, everyone pivoted to the tent and the sides went up in a blink of an eye! I didn’t have to lift a finger all day and everything was perfect. More beautiful photo locations than we could use all day and such a smooth experience. I can’t recommend them enough.”

“Absolutely stunning venue with amazing options for pictures and sites to have your ceremony! There’s a beautiful stone fireplace, lots of fairy lights for the evening, and cool wooden structures throughout the property. They were so lovely to work with and helped make things go as smoothly as possible. They were responsive to any questions we had and they have a good process to help with planning things…It’s clear they know what they’re doing and are committed to making your day what you dreamed it to be! We got so many comments about how beautiful and magical it felt.”

“[We] had a wonderful time, the staff was incredibly helpful. It rained pretty heavily on our wedding day and [they] were still working with us at every turn adjusting whatever was needed when needed. Not mention the venue itself is stunning. Glenn does amazing work, and the whole venue is extremely well kept!”

Classic Elegance & Traditional Charm with a Lucky Rain Shower

When we imagine the perfect wedding day, we often picture clear skies, golden sunsets, and a gentle breeze carrying the sweet scent of flowers. But what if I told you that some of the most enchanting, unforgettable, and emotionally charged weddings have taken place under a different kind of weather? Picture this: raindrops falling from the sky, the soft pitter-patter on umbrellas, the gleam of wet cobblestones underfoot, and a couple standing side by side, declaring their love in the midst of a gentle rain shower.

This is the story of a wedding day where the heavens opened up and showered the couple with blessings in the form of rain. It’s a tale of love, commitment, and the sheer magic of turning an unexpected twist of weather into an unforgettable celebration of unity and joy. Join us as we recount the beautiful journey of a couple who didn’t let a little rain dampen their spirits on their special day. Says bride TaKeyah, “We had an amazing wedding day experience at The Gardens!  We chose The Gardens because of the beautiful outdoor spaces.  When it was forecasted for rain that day, we were nervous our whole wedding vision was ruined.  The Gardens’ staff were not intimidated by the rain at all!  They pivoted our ceremony from the Lath House to the Wedding Reception Tent without any hesitation; flowers, decorations and all.  The ceremony was beyond beautiful and we wouldn’t change a single thing about the day!  When the rain cleared, it turned into a beautiful evening and we were still able to enjoy The Gardens’ grounds with our family and friends.”

Special thanks to Mark Fierst Photography for sharing these fabulous shots with us!

Renee & John’s Glorious Minnesota October Wedding

Real Wedding Spotlight: Picturesque Fall Garden Wedding with Gorgeous Flower Arrangements, Modern Rustic Reception Décor, and Stunning Autumn Views.

Renee and John’s love story started with poetry. They met during a Latin poetry class freshman year at the University of Minnesota in Rochester. Their friendship blossomed during a class trip to Greece and when they got back to Rochester, they decided that maybe there was a little more than friendship blooming. When things became even more serious, they adopted their adorable dog, Noodle, who isn’t one to say “No” to a hiking trail, neither do Renee and John. In fact, when they got engaged and first visited The Gardens of Castle Rock, they asked if there was a walking trail nearby and we were happy to point them in the direction of Whitetail Woods. They are adventurous, adorable, and aglow with love for each other.

Just introduced as Mr. & Mrs., John and Renee walk up the aisle to the cheers of their wedding guests in The Lath House. Photo by: Images by Nic

Saturday, October 8th of 2022 was a perfect fall day in Northfield, Minnesota for an outdoor wedding. As the sun came up and the morning dew began to clear, Renee and John’s family and friends began to arrive at The Gardens of Castle Rock. There was a definite air of excitement as Renee’s bridesmaids set-up in The Garden’s Suite for hair and makeup with LHN Beauty. After Renee stepped into her gorgeous gown from The Wedding Shoppe with help from her lovely mother, Renee enjoyed an emotional first look with her bridesmaids. Images by Nic was right there to capture these raw moments along with the couple’s wedding day details including Renee’s gorgeous ring from Filigree Jewelers. Meanwhile, John hung out with his wedding party and then took a quiet moment to open a gift from Renee outside of The Garden’s Cottage.

The morning set-up began when Renee and John’s phenomenal coordinator Heidi, with the Jenna Culley Events Team, arrived. There were lights to string, florals to be hung, and décor to be placed. Let’s go! Ultimate Events set to work hanging white chiffon draping and twinkle lights in the tent. They also strung black bistro lights throughout the reception patio space and along the walkway to the ceremony space. We have to admit that we couldn’t get enough of Wilderland Floral’s arrangements. The beautiful warm floral hues throughout Renee’s wedding bouquet and John’s boutonnière, The Lath House’s ceremony arch, and The Garden’s Reception Space were unbelievable. Renee and John’s Cedar Sweetheart Table was a floral wonderland and a definite highlight of the 2022 season.

Renee and John snuck away for a private first look in The Woods where they were later joined by their energetic wedding party. (Seriously, they were definite wedding party goals.) They looked amazing in the mixture of royal blue groomsmen suits by Bill’s Toggery and mixtures of red and orange toned bridesmaid dresses. The sun was just beginning it’s decent to the west when guests began to arrive for Renee and John’s wedding ceremony in The Lath House. As Renee and John exchanged kind and heartfelt vows, Leanne with Paint My Wedding Day was right there to capture the magic of their ceremony. We will never forget the joyful feeling that radiated throughout The Gardens as Renee and John were first announced as Mr. and Mrs. Brigham!

Their reception was filled with the cool sounds of a live jazz band, delicious food by Deco Catering, yummy drinks (from margaritas to warm apple cider) provided by Liquidmotion, mouth-watering desserts from Ganache Desserts and Confections, and a dance floor filled with laughter, singing, and dancing thanks to DJ Hunter Quinn. Renee and John even snuck away for sunset photos and some time to take in the moment as our Gardens staff fired up the woodfired pizza oven for some late night snacks. We are incredibly grateful to have been a part of Renee and John’s dream day!

Renee and John toured The Gardens of Castle Rock in January… Let’s just say The Lath House looked very different! R & J were able to see past the icicles that this was the perfect Outdoor Garden Ceremony location for them.

The cedar benches look lovely in The Lath House, but if you need a front row for your immediate family and friends (or relatives that need back support), no problem!

The Fireplace at The Gardens is not only fun, but a great way to keep guests toasty warm for an Outdoor Wedding in October. With the added bistro lights by Ultimate Events, it was the perfect wedding guest hang out spot.

“[The Gardens of Castle Rock] was absolutely perfect for us and was the first and best decision we made planning our 120-person wedding. It was important to us while planning during COVID to have an outdoor venue and plenty of space for our guests… We had our ceremony in the Lath house, which was absolutely stunning in early October… The property had a lot of great spaces for photos, and everyone was raving about how beautiful it was. We wholeheartedly recommend The Gardens of Castle Rock and the amazing team!” ~ Renee and John Brigham
