Subject: Guests enjoying drinks and conversation on a paved patio under the Garden Pavilion, a heavy hand-hewn timber-frame during an outdoor cocktail hour at The Gardens of Castle Rock in Northfield, MN.

Foreground:

In the center, a group gathers around a black linen-draped cocktail table featuring several clear beverage glasses.

A woman in a dark dress wrapped in a vibrant red shawl stands with her back to the camera, talking with a smiling woman in a gray zip-up fleece seated or leaning at the table.

To the right, a man in a dark suit jacket stands looking toward the group.

On the far left, a person seated in a mobility scooter/wheelchair joins the edge of the circle.

Architecture & Background:

Overheading the patio is a massive timber-frame structure made of thick log beams and trusses, accented with subtle hanging lights.

Behind the gathering, a stacked-stone wall forms an elegant background, with additional guests mingling in the soft, warm outdoor light all at The Gardens of Castle Rock in Northfield, MN.
