  • This outdoor event takes place the following Wednesdays in September: 14th, 21st and 28th at The Gardens of Castle Rock, 26601 Chippendale Ave, Northfield, MN 55057. The event moves inside the tent during rain.
  • The self-service style of this event is meant to be relaxed and laid back. Do not expect traditional restaurant service.
  • Carpooling is encouraged because many guests are single riders coming from work. Parking is available in The Gardens parking lot. Please follow the signs.
  • $5.00 entrance fee per person is payable upon arrival / check-in at the front entrance.  The fee helps us cover the cost of hosting this event and helps maintain a sustainable guest count. Our wedding couples receive complimentary admission – be sure to notify the entrance attendant.
  • Cash or credit/debit cards accepted.
  • Full bar service is available under the Garden Pavilion.
  • Food orders are placed and prepared in the Main Assembly Building.
Woodfired nachos will be delivered to your table when ready.
  • Please send any questions or concerns to info@thegardensofcastlerock.com
SEATING
  • Seating is first come, first serve.
  • Please do not move the large cedar tables.
  • Feel free to move the small and large round tables to accommodate your group because these tables are removed at the end of the evening.
  • We encourage you to bring your own blanket or comfortable lawn chairs to relax while you wait for a table to open or when you leave your table for another guest.
MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT
  • DJ entertainment by Trustworthy Music will be provided from 3:30-5:30 pm
  • Live Acoustic music will be playing from 5:30-8:00 pm
  • Fall music series includes:
  • Wednesday, Sept 14th: Tim Mahoney
Tim Mahoney is a Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter who got his start with the pop/rock band the Blue Meenies and went on to release a series of solo CDs selling over 150k records and being featured in Rolling Stone magazine’s 40th anniversary issue.  He was also a contestant in the 2017 season of NBC’s The Voice.
  • Wednesday, Sept 21st: Halverson, Neale & Gray
Halverson, Neale & Gray perform their take on the ever-expanding genre of Americana.
  • Wednesday, Sept 29th: Matt Arthur & The Bratlanders
Matt Arthur is a Southern Minnesota blind man who calls to mind legends such as Johnny Cash and Townes Van Zandt, while remaining a truly original performer. The Bratlanders flesh out Matt’s rustic folk-country-gospel songs and push them into a barroom-ready blend of honky-tonk twang and retro rock & roll.
  • Live music will be located on the lawn, near the tent.
  • The music will move inside the tent if it rains.
  • Be sure to register each week for our Northfield Experience Prize Package full of shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities from a variety of Northfield businesses. The drawing will be held on Wednesday, September 28th. You need not be present to win.
